A Tag for Janet

Last week I sent out a few RAKS to some great people that follow my blog and/or my videos, and I had great fun making tags for each packet I sent. Here is the tag I made for the first person to receive their RAK: Janet

Anniversary Mini

Hi everyone!
This year I made an Anniversary Mini Album for my husband, as one of his gifts. It was hard to create because I barely have time for much these days, but I worked on it on late hours of the night for about a week and a half, and here's what I made.
I challenged myself to NOT use ANY flowers in this album (gasp! LOL), and I succeeded! I have NEVER NOT used flowers on my projects. I'm a flower addict, really LOL. It was hard at first, but I resisted the temptation!
The title of the album is Ten things I Love About You, and this is obviously about my husband :) I used a bunch of different Sizzix Dies and brought out the techniques, and I like how it came out.

I used some gold charms in the binding, and one of the charms I even alcohol inked.
I tried to make it as simple as manly and simple as possible, and used the Granola collection of papers from Basic Grey. Hey, it's an old collection, but it's new to me! LOL

I made lots of tags, pull outs and even a mini inside the mini. I distressed like crazy all over the place!

This is the view of two of the pages with al the tags in it.This is how it looks with all the tags out of the pockets.

For a more detailed view, and a description of all the techniques and products I used, please watch the following series of 3 videos.

Happy Father's Day!

I wanted to show you today some of the cards I created for Father's Day. It is amazing how busy life gets, but I was lucky to get some cards done in time this year Yayyyy!
I have been working on several projects, and the fact that my crafting time is very limited now a days, I did not think I was going to be able to even make on card, but I was having so much fun, I managed to finish three cards in in between diaper changing, feeding, playing, and every other thing I have to do on a daily basis. It's crazy, but a mother's work is never done, huh?
The first card you see here is the one I made for my husband.
I am still trying to learn my way with the new camera I just got...I tried to get the best pictures I could with what I know... It's a completely different system than my old Nikon. I'm liking the Canon, little by little... Please bare with the pictures, they might not be 100% perfect quality just yet...
This second card I made for my father in law...as you can see, I didn't go the serious, formal way....I was feeling playful :)
I applied some glossy accents on the bee hive....
And popped both images from the card with dimensionals...
This last card I made for one of our friends.

For more information on what I used and what I did, please watch the video below. Enjoy
